40th anniversary

On June 14, 1980 the first group Salesians arrived in Araimiri, Papua New Guinea. To commemorate this 40th anniversary last June 13 Bp. Pedro Baquero of Kerema presided the Eucharist together with Salesian priests representing the different settings of the PGS Vice Province. This was followed by a programme animated by students of Don Bosco Araimiri Secondary School. Indeed, the seed planted 40 years ago has become a vibrant tree!
