DBSTC honored the Patron Saint St. Joseph

Saint Joseph Day celebrations on March 17th Friday, 2018 were the treasured moments for the students and teachers of DBSTC with one day packed with variety entertainments hosted by the Savio and Vicuna Sodality. It was a fabulous day as it provides an opportunity to the Bosconians to remember and to honor the wonders he has done for us. The programme began with the Holy Mass celebrated by Fr. Roger Miranda SDB, Provincial Economer of PNG & SI with co-celebrants Fr. Robinson Parappilly, Principal of DBSTC and Fr. Edwin, Deputy Principal of DBTSC. In his homily he said that we have to be like St. Joseph, humble and willing to say yes to the gods call. He is great in faith, not because he speaks his own words but above all he listens to the words of the living god. As we can see from his actions in Bible that he was a compassionate man and obedient to the will of god. He loved Mary and Jesus and wanted to protect and provide for them. As we can see just opposite what is happening in the modern world. During the Mass Fr. Edwin administered the oath to the new Students Representative Council Members as well as to all clubs and sodalities members of DBSTC. Immediately after the Holy Mass the recognition day of first years 2017 was celebrated. College toppers and those students secured highest Grades in Academic, Attendance and Conduct under various courses, with the Chief Guest of Fr. Roger presenting certificates to the high fliers during this colorful function. After the mass Fr. Robinson Parappilly has officially unveiled the new vehicle of DBSTC. After that there were sports competition for all the students and teachers.
