CAFE Coaching Program for the Don Bosco

The Central Bank and the Asia Development Bank has commissioned Good Return, an organization that helps communities grow income and beat poverty in developing countries, to train people on new ways to improve their financial situations in families; some of our DBTI staff and students have been part of this program. As the facilitators from Good Return have been sharing their mission of enabling those living in poverty to achieve economic empowerment through responsible financial inclusion and capability development, they have manage to conduct 7 weeks sessions which lead in empowering our young people in achieving a financial dream. After the three teachers have been trained, they were empowered to become trainers as well in promoting responsible inclusive finance, building financial capability and developing smallholder solutions in families to our students of Business Office Administration and to the Hospitality and Tourism students. Don Bosco

Don Bosco was creative, enthusiastic and enterprising in his work. He wrote and edited booklets, school texts, histories, digests, magazines, fliers, plays. From his earliest years as a priest, Don Bosco communicated through his whole demeanour and person, through games, talking, visiting, preaching, and publishing. Communicating through the internet and publishing is a priority for Salesians. Inspired by this example of Don Bosco and the early Salesians, Social Communication continues an important priority.
