I heard about Don Bosco Technical institute many years ago but it wasn’t in my dream of reaching the Institution. However, DBTI becomes the first Institute of my teaching career. On my first days, I am realizing, being part of this great school, it is more than being a teacher. In fact, it is more enjoyable, interesting, a kind of school which seems up to the standard in terms of its physical appearance, education system and academic standard. More than a teacher, I am feeling being a sister to many of the students, a trusty and indeed a friend and a learner among them and companion. I came to appreciate too how much we can do in our country, if these young people cope up with what the school offers, the environment, the discipline, the skills package, the workshop filled-experience. In addition, what I appreciate most and makes me proud to be in the right place at DBTI is how the institute, not only respond to the academic needs, but also helps the students with their spiritual lives and accompanying them both in physical and in spiritual aspects. More than a teacher again, I am becoming a bosconian.
