On the 14th of March 2018 the students had a great privilege to have the presence of sister Lucy, FMA (General Councilor) in her occasion of canonical visitation to the Salesian sisters in Solomon Islands. During her visit she was given an opportunity to share a morning talk with the students and staffs. She addressed the students with a word full of love, joy and hope. In her inspiring words, Sr. Lucy highlighted the fact that young people should feel the hope for the future, the importance and privilege of being part of the Don Bosco dream. Making an analogy to trees and birds, Sister Lucy said the young people are here in DBTI to get their roots and give wings to the dreams. “It is only through education that you get rooted in life and fly high to reach success,” she said.
