The Salesians community of Don Bosco, Araimiri runs an agency, secondary school in partnership with the government of Papua New Guinea. The school serves the people in remotest areas of the Gulf province. This year there are total of 300 students, out of which 210 are boys and 90 are girls. All of the students are in the boarding facility. The boys are looked after by the priests, while the girls are taken care of by the nuns. Upgrading of the computer was one of the top priorities of the school to makw the teaching and learning more accessible.
